ETI has many products that make mixed media and jewellery creation a dream. Most of us think of their major product line as “resin.” Hence, my choice of this blogs title; “Resin Crafts.” Over the next few months I’ll have the opportunity to explain the difference between plastic, polymer and epoxy coatings. I will also cover various crafts including everything from altered books to amazing doorknockers.
The use of resin in jewelry making, mixed media and paper arts continues to grow in popularity and not a day goes by that someone doesn’t ask me about my own resin related projects. Today, artists are using ETI’s products in many crafty ways and I am eager to showcase these works of art. I will specifically focus on those artisans and crafters using Envirotex Lite. Envirotex Lite was originally designed for high gloss coatings and has expanded well beyond the original application. I like to think of it as the little blue box of magic. You won’t believe all you can do with this product and I can’t wait to get you started!

I have come to discover that ETI has been in business since 1969. They were the resin trailblazers, which is why you always hear “it is similar to Envirotex Lite.” They were environmentalists before it was even popular. They created the formulation for superior, clear, waterproofing that others have tried to match. Their information about safety standards and compliance is public and well advertised on their website. I appreciate that. When you work with any chemical you deserve all the information that is available. ETI does not shirk from its responsibilities in this regard. I especially appreciate their willingness to work with every country they are sold in to ensure they are language and safety compliant.
